The Young Marines strengthens the lives of America's youth by teaching the importance of self-confidence, academic achievement, honoring our Veterans, good citizenship, community service, and living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The Young Marines promote the mental, moral, and physical development of its members.  The program focuses on character building and leadership and promotes a lifestyle that is conducive to being productive members of society. We are open to ALL Youth age 8 through completion of High School or age 18, both male and female, that meet the requirements of the Young Marines National Organization.

The Young Marines program is NOT a program for youths with serious disciplinary problems, substance abuse issues or lengthy histories of juvenile court.  We are Not a military recruiting agency.

For over 57 years, Young Marines of the Marine Corps League has been providing sound, unparalleled mentorship to America's youth.  Mentoring is provided through Volunteers who believe in the mission of the Young Marines to strengthen the lives of America's youth through drug demand reduction awareness and the belief in the Marine Corps values of honor, courage, and commitment.  Young Marines was recently awarded its 7th Folcrum Shield Award, a phenomenal testament to the volunteers who work hard to make the Young Marine program the preeminent youth drug demand reduction program in the United States.
